K2000
Millennium
is the name for our K2000 fiber optic illuminator with 1000 hours of
150-watt quartz-halogen lamp life. Through a revolutionary patented optical
design, KSE-Texas, Inc. is proud to offer this illuminator which extends the
operating life of standard quartz-halogen lamps. K2000 increases the life of
an EKE and EKE-HC lamps from 200 to 1000 hours. This 500% increase in lamp
life does not compromise light intensity. The Craftsmanship and attention to
detail that is required for any superior products are incorporated in this
illuminator. The primary attributes of the unit are performance, durability,
and dependability. The sculpted injection molded housing adds to the
aesthetics appeal. The housing design utilizes state-of-the-art mechanical
engineering principles that result in cooler surface temperatures, minimal
fan vibration noise, and a very small footprint. These features are ideal in
space constrained microscopy and machine vision applications. The K2000 also
can come with the optional of an iris dimming module.
Model 21AC
The
Model 21AC has been designed specifically as a cost effective, high quartz
industrial light source for use in both the microscopy and machine vision
applications. This 150-watt halogen illuminator provides a shadow-free, cool
illumination to any application when coupled with one of the many standard
fiber optics. The Model 21AC features a 0 to 100% intensity control, which
when set at maximum output, provides a 3200K lamp color temperature using
the standard EKE lamp. Other lamps, such as EKE-HC and EJV, may be used to
further adapt this unit to meet specific application requirements. The
innovative 1" diameter V-port designed with three-point contacts, allow for
a "non-slip" coupling to almost any fiber optic component. This design
incorporates a rugged housing made of an aluminum extrusion that is clear
anodized for maximum durability. A T-slot runs the length of both sides of
the housing for integrated mounting capabilities. Standard accessories for
this unit that can be included are a flexible positioning handle, mounting
brackets, and an IR filter insert.

Model 21DC
The
Model 21DC has been designed specifically as a cost effective high quality
DC regulated light source for most use in machine vision applications where
stability of light output is a requirement. This 150-watt halogen
illuminator provides stable, shadow-free, cool illumination to any
application when coupled with one of many standard fiber optics. With the
Model 21DC it delivers current regulated, DC light output, which is free
from power fluctuations that are typically due to variations in line voltage
and can often affect an illumination system's performance. The Model 21DC
also offers a 0 to 100% intensity control, with a LED power/lamp life
indicators and a universal input voltage to accept 90-254VAC. A DB-9
connector on the rear panel allows for remote operation, including a on/off
and intensity control using a 0-5VDC analog programming voltage. The design
incorporates a rugged housing made of an aluminum extrusion that is powdered
coated for maximum durability. A T-slot runs the length of both sides of the
housing for integrated mounting capabilities. The innovative 1" diameter
V-port designed with three-point contacts, allow for a "non-slip" coupling
to almost any fiber optic component. Fiber Optic Goosenecks, specifically,
lock into place where otherwise they would rotate within the fiber optic
port. Standard accessories for this unit that can be included are a flexible
positioning handle, mounting brackets, as well as color and/or IR filter
insert. Other options that can be included is a remote operation accessories
such as multiple unit controllers, RS232 control and an iris dimming module.
