Line Arrays

Machine Vision Line Arrays
The Fiber Optic Machine Vision Line Array uses a high output 0.66 N.A. glass fiber to produce uniform lines of light. The flexible sheathing allows the line array to adapt to a variety of positions to suit customer's specific applications. The MVLA's rugged, industrial-grade extruded aluminum housing has a durable/black powdered coating and is completely sealed using silicone gaskets. A T-slot is designed to facilitate easy mounting, which runs the entire length of the housing. When combined with a focusing rod lens, this product is an ideal light source for high speed line scan applications, which requires a line of uniform light.

| The DJI Line Light design allows the structuring the light from round light source input to a line output configuration. The area of illumination coverage is defined by the length of the fiber optic line, the 68-degree light output cone on both axis, and the stand-off distance. The fiber optic line output will be most uniform on the central axis and equal to the length. Thus, the selection of the line light should be equal or slightly longer than the target. By decreasing the stand-off distance, it will increase the level of illumination. The configuration with a quartz-halogen source is efficient in distributing extremely high levels of cold light. A Single or Dual Line Light can be purchased. | The Line Array uses a high output 0.66N.A. glass fiber to produce a thin, cool, uniform line of light. The Array is a versatile fiber optic assembly designed for a variety of applications including machine vision, microscopy, and photonics. The low profile, plastic housing is ideal for applications where illumination is required within a tight space. To enable the assembly to adapt to a variety of configurations, the housing is supplied with mounting holes. The Fiber optic bundle is protected by either PVC covered monocoil or a durable, yet flexible, stainless steel sheathing. Custom configurations are available. |

| The DJI Backlight is a machine vision lighting method which provides a high contrast silhouette of a part segment. Made with durable glass fibers, the backlights can be used with strobes or any quartz halogen illuminators of DJI. All backlights can be used with a color filter, which is placed at the input end, to improve the contrast of color tinted parts. The use of glass fiber optics enables the backlights to be used with a high intensity illuminator. Fiber ends include a diameter of .250" to .625", with the option of single or dual backlights. The housing of the backlight includes, black aluminum, black nylatron, or nylatron. | The Area Backlight uses high output, plastic fiber woven matting coupled to a high output 0.66 N.A. glass fiber optic bundle. This bundle is a Light Guide that is detachable. That provides intense, uniform illumination, which can interface to a wide range of light sources. The unit is housed in a mountable, power coated steel housing with PVC covered metal hose sheathing. It's compact with a low profile, to fit in tight areas for applications that require intense, uniform backlighting. |

The linear backlight provides an ideal solution for machine vision applications that require uniform backlighting. The aperture backlight is best suited for linescan vision applications, such as through-hole inspection, edge detection or any application that require a high contrast silhouette of an abject. The housing of the linear backlight is manufactured by using compact, high quality aluminum to provide years of carefree service. The backlights are supplied with a 0.66 N.A. glass fiber Light Guide which can interface to all of Techniquip 150 watt halogen illuminators. Four different lengths, which rang from 2" to 8", are available with the linear backlight, and a standard aperture width o 0.5" for all sizes. |
