LED Backlights

Backlight Function The Backlight is one of the most basic types of inspection illumination and provides a field of even illumination against the viewed part. The unit is used most frequently for measuring, sorting, or determining the orientation of parts; they have been used in situations that require extremely diffuse illumination. The backlight is built in many different sizes and color wavelengths, including infrared.

LED Linear Array

Broad Area Linear Array Function The Broad Area Linear Array is a cross between a diffuse illumination of a dome and the direct illumination of a spotlight. Designed for inspecting circuit boards, the unit provides a low angle of incidence illumination over a long, wide area. A Broad Area Linear Array is useful for inspecting reflective materials and can be used as a replacement for fluorescent lighting. The applications range from bottle placement inspection to medium and large sized circuit board inspections. The Broad Area Linear Array is built in three different sizes and many wavelengths, including infrared.
