Diffuse Illuminator
The Diffuse Illuminator, with properties that are similar to the light on an overcast day, creates minimal glare during the inspection of reflective materials.
The standard domes offer a rugged housing for potentially harsh work environments, and can be mounted on robotic arms for a fast-paced inspection. Four of the diffuse lights can be
ordered in a full range of visible and IR wavelengths, and the DL7248, DL9160, and DL51120 are available in an RGB “all color” version. The CL252 comes in four colors only, which
included, blue (470), green (530), red (625), and white. Applications can range from reading print on the bottom of aluminum cans to the inspecting of flaws in metal parts.

Axial Diffuse Illuminator
The Axial Diffuse Illuminator also offers illumination that creates minimal glare on reflective materials. The ADIs come in four sizes that deliver even
illumination of the entire designated field of view. They can be ordered in a full range of visible and IR wavelengths, and the DL2449 can also be available in an RGB “all color” version.
By heat sinking the LED's, it eliminates the need for cooling fans and by providing a vibration free performance, and a dust cover protecting the beam splitter, it minimizes cleaning.
The applications, which the ADI includes, are reading print on metal surfaces, can lids, and metal coated leads. The ADI can be configured for a customer-supplied power in either a 12 or 24 volt.
